I'm just glad it got there.
I totally screwed up when I sent him some units. I sent the batteries that go with them but totally blew it when I accidentally left them in the units. Meant to separate them out. VERY little chance of anything turning itself on but you never know and there's a catastrophic lithium battery melt down.
I was in a big hurry and when I realized what I did it was too late.
Don't need anyone slapping me as I've beat myself up bad enough over it.
As for your girl, he honestly did not spend a dime
Make him share the twizzlers
I will ask one thing though. Did I send a 650 or 405 adjustable focus pen? Been talking so much about the glow in the dark stuff wish it would have been the 405 if it wasn't.
You can unscrew the top completely to see how I did it. Totally makes sense when you look at it and the tutorial on how to do it. Just be careful as there is likely a tensioning spring there that might fall out. It's just there to help keep the lens steady (they are in every unit).
Now play around even with the lowest mw one in the dark and tell me it's not still cool. That's the point. I have all these great and powerful units but the truth is I hardly touch them. A set of those pens for about $12 and you can have a green laser that is cool on its own and build 2 relatively powerful match lighting balloon popping glow in the dark making units. How can you beat that. If something goes wrong with one the loss in $ is very little. They are cool enough though that you won't want them to fail.
You absolutely do not have to spend a ton of $ to own some nice things.
I rarely touch any of my powerful units. I seriously doubt a single one of them has more than 5 minutes run time and I have never ever run a single set of my batteries down to where they HAD to be recharged. Most of my fun comes from building inexpensive units and playing with inexpensive pens.
