PLUG & PLAY CO2 BURNING LASERS only $150 DELIVERED

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

What happens if we don't make 10 units? I hope we get at least 10, i've wanted one of these for quite a while.
I havn't wanted to buy a tube on ebay because I saw all the trouble mike had trying to get a working tube... Of course that was the HV type, not one of these much better RF types. :) I cant believe anyone would want to pass up this awesome deal for a small co2 laser, with a power supply! :o

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

I hope so too... If i had the cash i'd splurge and get 'em all outright! Yeah those Chinese co2 tubes are good for 2K hours at best with the recommended power supply, but then again at about $150 or so a pop i guess you could call them a consumable like a flash lamp or something.

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

In reality, 2,000 hours of CO2 for a hobbiest isnt bad -- that's a long time to "see" nothing!!! It's when they break in 10 minutes that those HV tubes are a problem. Also the water cooling, HV cautions etc -- ::)

One of these will be good for basic CO2 applications.

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

oh, if I only had more room :-/ Using one of these in my tiny apartment would probably be dangerous, not to mention, I really don't have anywhere safe to keep it from my cats trying to lay on it or it falling.

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

I want to, but no. Sorry if I'm littering the topic with my "thinking-out-loud" :-[

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

Looks like I could be in for one, is this 1064 nm?

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

Nope, its more like 10600nm... its very far into the ir from the diodes we play with. It will burn a lot of things that reflect the near ir frequency's. :D Also, its a lot easier to get goggles for it, since just about any goggles will protect you from this frequency.

That makes sense, that's about what my CO2 25 watt engraver laser is outputting.

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

dude, is there a hole burnt in that freaking brick?!?

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

Yeah the phone rang and i got distracted. It burnt through the cardboard and it started burning a hole in the brick. :o

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

I'm pretty sure we are going to get one, when is the order?

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

scopeguy20, I'll add you to the confirmed list :D

It should be within 2 weeks *If* people pay up on time. I can float a few hundred $$$ if one or two people are late, but no more. FWIW, We need to reach at least 10 complete units for this to go through.

Re: GB FEELER Small RF 5-10W CO2 LASERS! CHEAP!

Chris ---

I am still Committed to one unit.   No waffeling on my part.

How much current is needed at 28 volts for the RF PS ??  I might make mine portable !!!
