Whoa, the difference is very noticeable :D I don't know what you are talking about daguin, those beamshots are great!

What is the price on a custom made daguin 8X? :)
I hope it outlive you.
 
Funny, me & scope had the same subject involving custom 8x & Daguin...in our pm.
Indeed the pics are bad, ship me that baby il make pics.

At this point we don't really even know if it will last beyond this evening. I think it is a bit premature to buy/sell one.

Am I missing something? The pics seem damn good from my end...? Except for the hue of the beams (due to the CMOS or CCD chip), I think they serve the purpose of comparing visibility between the varying powers quite well?!

Or is this a ploy to get daguin to send you the laser, in which case...I also take good pictures.
 
Me & Scopeguy20 were discussing about daguin making us a 500mW bluray, but as he doesnt make laser anymore... I thinked about Goeygus, hel do it for the parts cost only but id give him some $$$ extra ;).

I think you use too much smoke. Use as little as possible so the beams don't get too saturated. ;)
 
If you are willing to pay parts including potential damaged drives, hosts, circuits, etc, Rangedunits, and can prove you will treat it responsibly, I can build one of these for you.
 
I cant promise anything about it receaving good threatments. Im outta money now, im unemployed and i has to refund couple people*.

Most likely my bank account ;D, my saving for a trip to Europe took an hard hit.. i mostly has to start again from scratch.

Some one should invite Shuji Nakamura to this forum to see what we do with violet lasers. I bet he could get some really awesome diodes.

BTW , he was the first to discover violet lasers as diodes, and also blue LEDs.

Anyway, where can I get that 8x sled? and how much?
'cause I saw some 6x for 60$, isn't really expensive for that power.
