I already had a discussion with my friends about how dangerous it is.
be very aware to not exceed 110mA on the poor diode.
I won't: however i've noticed that several people recomend 4 1N40001 diodes, some recomend 6, others recomend 5...for the test load. Which one will result in the proper voltage reading over the 1 ohm resistor? I noticed 1 person that made the mistake of using 6 silicons and losing 2 diodes in a matter of minutes. (i would rather not make this mistake)
