i think i've easily spent over $1000 at modwerx over the course of my laser hobby...drew is honest, if he says he shipped it then he shipped it...

and it's your responsibility to research the different available shipping options to find the best to suit you, there is no need for him to leave a big notice for those too lazy to do it.

It's not about being lazy, I know how long First class takes to get somewhere. Jayrob sent a package to me from CA on a Saturday, got here Monday. If it were sent actually on the fifteenth it would have been here by now you'd think. It has been a week. On that note, if I'm wrong I'll be the first to eat my words but till then, like I continually have to do, I'll research, ask other members, by all means make sure to use Priority shipping so it will get here in a decent amount of time, and pretty much generally deal with member who have a shop and items in actual stock. It surely isnt the first time I've had to take a Paypal claim on a member here. Hell, I took one out just now on a supposed refund I was sent but have yet to see. Lazy is not sending a refund and posting that you have.

It's simple in a business sense or it should be rather, you have it or you dont, you shipped it on said date or you didn't, you can deliver within a reasonable amount of time or you can't and give lame excuses to the fact. These aren't undue or unreasonable expectations and I for one am sick to death of excuses and non-committal to agreements and sales here. I am NOT talking about Drew in this aspect but it shouldn't take over a week for something to get to me from a couple states under mine, not when it's came from farther away faster. For me to be a new member and have this many problems getting parts from reputable members (supposedly) is just f@cking ridiculous.


Update 5-23 : Still not here. Someone else got it or something, I don't expect to see it. If it wasn't here by today then it just ain't coming for whatever reason. AWESOME!!!!!

Update 2: Still not here on the 27th but was mailed on Monday the 18th, supposedly. It wouldnt be so bad maybe if he wouldn't have told me he'd mail it the next day but I find it hard to believe because the other two items I've gotten from others stores state when they left the sort facility on USPS.com. I'm banned from his site (LOL)for wondering where my stuff is and trying to protect my purchase, since WV is so far from Alabama it takes two weeks to mail to here.
 
Archienj7, I finally received my Modwerx items yesterday afternoon after being in the mail since May 5th. Since I wasn't expecting it to take this long for shipping, I got involved with other projects and will need some time to test out the items I bought from Drew. To his credit, Drew packs the items very well, but he could use some flair in the customer-relations department. I can understand feeling frustrated at receiving the same questions from many different people, but a good business practice is knowing how to empathize with buyers and provide just a little reassurance to keep them coming back. I hope your items show up soon.
 
I'm thinking mine got rerouted or someone else got it or it was never sent out period. That was the whole reason for me opening the dispute with Paypal, not a refund. The guy told me he'd send it next day, I specifically asked that cause i needed it quick. It was Wednesday the 13th when I paid so I could see it going out on a Fri-Sat maybe and wouldn't have been pissed but after asking about it and getting banned, it was shipped out the following Monday. WTF? Never any update on the shipping but I ordered a module from Hightechdealz, it updates after it leaves sorting and gets here in one day from Texas alright a module with no driver WOOOOO!!!!!. A lot farther away than Alabama. Whatever shipping he is using, is god awful along with the customer service. I was wondering what was taking so long and then I get banned cause everyone else was wondering the same thing and I decide to cover my ass on it? First and last purchase from there regardless of the ban. I'm not wanting to moan on and on but the whole thing just reeks.

I just came from P.O., not there but mine was mailed out in a group of four according to the info. The others have gotten there, mine is showing up as never even being scanned in the system really. Glad I got another one with a dummy load thats coming on time and trackable. lol I'm just done with it, others beware, get Priority. It makes sense anyways, electrical components bouncing around for two weeks in the postal system = bad news. If it shows up I'll be surprised if it works, let alone being set.

thanks for showing your ignorance AGAIN archie. your package got returned to me yesterday but since you already have a dispute going and since you were a little rude in your last email i dont see a reason to ship it back out... as far as the shipping goes theres a note on the front page about the tracking. you must be pretty young b/c most adults realize that usps carriers dont always scan items during transit. i have received many pacakges that still say "usps was electronically notified.." meaning it was never scanned at all.
 
Your welcome, send me my freaking money you crook. I'm 33, not the only person who had a problem with your shipping and you're the one who got rude in the first place buddy. "You are banned cause you asked about your package and filed a dispute because, EXACTLY like I figured IF it even was mailed, it got sent to wherever but me." I've had about enough of bad dealings here, it's taken almost a month to get parts to even make a laser cause, someone's always got an excuse for something. I'll make sure to let Paypal see your keeping it and I sure dont want to wait another two weeks for it to show up, odd thing is the other people you mailed to in that batch GOT their package. I could be using the money to get other parts but I can tell already, you're gonna try and hold me up even more. I didn't do anything wrong or out of the way till you did and I'm not gonna sit an read every little note when I've been mailing and recieving it for about twenty odd years now. I know how the postal system works. I get mail and items from all around the world, which was why I filed the dispute in the first place in case it was just lost. That's when you pulled your "You're banned for asking about your package and filing a dispute, I mailed it on this day five days after I told you I'd mail it the next and now its magically back in my hands two weeks later" Please. I damn sure don't want it now. Also, I havent emailed you since before I filed a dispute and I'd surely say if I did or not, so once again YOU are lying.

Edit: I let them know, looks like you just showed your ignorance on that one, Mr. Fraudulent seller ;)

Andrew, do you really want to risk losing your business by doing that to Archie? You've publicly admitted to receiving his money and are now deliberately witholding his merchandise due to personal reasons... that's just not ethical. Since you have already banned him from shopping at your online store, why not just send him his stuff or refund his money?
 
I kind of thought the admin here frowned on that type of business dealings. I can bac up every bit of what I'm saying with emails and proof so I'm pushing to have his business shut down period, fraud is fraud regardless of reason. I'd not be one to talk about maturity level here so enjoy holding on that driver, douche ;) I'll get ahold of the BBB and any online business commission as well over this, you want to play games I will show you how :D I highly advise anyone NOT to deal with Modwerx/Skunkwerx, it is nothing but a hassle unless your friends with the guy even then I'd still say so.
 
Yet you admitted to it above. You could have just sent the driver or the money, simple. I can't help it everyone wants to know where there items were regardless of the reason, you not shipping when you said, postal mistakes, whatev. You got pissed because I filed a dispute in case my item got lost, I didnt ask for a refund till you banned me. Then, you say you are holding my item because I was rude? Who wouldn't be rude after some bullshit like that? You are fraudulent, admitted to it, end of story. Oh making me wait ten days till my claim goes through, you showed me. LOL You made yourself look bad regardless of your past dealings or whether you sell to a few loyal customers on this forum, I bet people think twice about dealing with you now. You commited fraud, at least be man enough to own up to it now. You did earlier when you pulled your power trip over one lousy driver.
