PGL-III-C 589 125mW mini-review

Re: PGL-III-C 594 125mW mini-review

Thanks every one for clearing this up, It seems I have a 589nm laser ;)
and me thinks maby Jay is correct that a 30 second duty cycle is in order here.

Pheonix got a 473 from the last group buy and his acts kind of the same. Powers up with really high power then slowly gos down, BUT after 90 seconds of going down in the last 30 seconds of the two minutes it went back up, and peaked again. I wonder if yours would do the same...

Thanks for backing me up Aryntha. Your information is correct, and I'm glad we were all able to sort things out properly. FP, what I meant when I said that there is currently no portable 593.5nm >100mW in existence, is basically that the technology for achieving that wavelength is simply not available in advanced-enough form pack 100mW+ into a portable host. On the other hand with 589nm, these power levels are available due to different technologies.

peace & thanks

Thanks for clairifing that it makes sense to me when you put it that way.

Did you buy the 80mW or the 100mW version?

BTW: nice and beautiful review!

It's supposed to be the 80mW version but the anti-static bag it came in was miss labeled by CNI so who knows what it realy is ? the warning label on the laser says

Peakpower <500mW WAVELENGTH 589-594nm
CLASS IIIb LASER PRODUCT

Strange.. but who cares, it´s stronger than expected that´s the point.
Hope the time is going to come very soon seeing 589nm with >20mW in a pen.

+ a big price drop!!!
