That nice thin,round beam of you 80mW, beats the crap out of these multimode 445nm diodes:) I still very much want one.
 
Great that you got such a nice unit! It seemed that it was worth the wait. Go ask Ava for the average output and peak of this unit.

Oh? Has Ava been able to do that before? That'd be great if she would...
 
Heh, I just tried asking Ava what the Average and Peak was for this laser, and she replied, "Don't worry, it's >80mW". -- I'm sure it is, but that wasn't quite the answer I was looking for. Oh well, CNI. :)

Ask if she can provide the exact average and peak output, that you don´t have your laserpowermeter right now and that you need to know it.

Was she able to get you this information for your PGL?
 
Yes power output and wavelength.
Roithner-lasers never wrote back as I asked if I can use their instruments.

Well, okay, I asked her again, hopefully she won't get too annoyed and spit in the optics of the (secret laser that you know about DJNY but others dont) that I'm getting built. :)
 
You shall! DJNY knows about it, and so does Glenn, but I'll review it as soon as I get it :)
 
I'll say that it's between 488 and 594. And it's not 532. :) I don't want to jinx my luck or anything, or say much before it arrives as it could be a bad performer (who knows)... I get kind of superstitious with my lasers lately, with the bad luck I've been having...

I'll post something in Vets once it's definitely a 'go' and CNI says they're building it. :)

When I ask CNI for special requests, that question is usually the one to be ignored.
I'm hope you have some good luck with this one.
