Even with the flood of direct diode blues, DPSS still holds a special place in my heart. The seller claims its brand new but doesn't mention if its been powered up or not to verify functionality. No reserve so it could go for a steal.

Well, if you are bidding on it, then you have done a fine job of showing it to thousands of other potentially interested competitive bidders...
 
There's a gentlemen's agreement in this thread that when someone wishes to bid on a posted item, other members will not bid competitively.

Yea and the standoff/alignment setscrews showing through that huge gap is distressing, however it appears the rod is water cooled just as each array is without the passage ways connecting, but I had to post it because building your own is so cool...... I probably posted it in the wrong thread really...... however it is for sale.... so.....

I expect eventually that price will decrease. If I were interested in getting a 3 watt 405 nm diode I might buy it, but I have all the ones that I will ever need.
