Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

Hey guys don't bid on the m145 I was talking about! I talked to DTR about the blinking lights and everything and he said "Yea it means that he pulled the diodes out of it and has wired it up to not notice they are missing running with only the red LED." He just saved me some money!

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=310642364014

Laserbee 2.5w with 11hrs left at $100 + $15 s/h

HOLY COW look at the lens/focusing ring on his laser thats for sale as well

HERE

Just a warning to anyone looking to bid on the LPM, this may or may not be an indication as to the condition of the LPM. you can already see burn marks all over the TEC sensor which may or may not be throwing the readings off. it will cost whoever buys it another $100, if they decide to send it to jerry and have it re-calibrated and the sensor re-coated. just wanted to give everyone a heads up on that.

Are you bidding on this? If not I would like to let everyone else know I am interested in it and to not bid me up as I still need an LPM.

Nope I was just letting you guys know about it!

@ livinloud good call on that I am on my phone and didn't look at the thermopile real good but I just did and it needs a recoating .

Dr if you get it I would definitely send it to Jerry

Well then... oWaitAMinute.jpg where's the inductor? You can't drive a 3.6V device with a 3.7V power source and a linear driver. Not without great current losses, anyway.
Ordered one anyway to see for myself. If it's junk, I can use the LED in other projects.

With this and reading about replacing the TEC sensor, I figure it is not worth me bidding.
I think Bloompyle is bidding on this.

Witchcraft dontchaknowww.

It seems to work spot on, only time will tell about the efficiency / battery life.

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

How about a current reading, and simultaneous readings of total voltage on the driver, and voltage on the LED?

Re: PERMANENT THREAD: Ebay& other internet FINDS of interest- read all the OP please

^This is why everyone should own a bench power supply. They're cheaper than a blue pointer, and they're handy as hell.
I'll write a short review when I get mine.
