Peregrine - The Free, Open Source LPM Interface

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

Im running windows 7 64 bit. Yeah I have seen peoples videos when the window pops up. I seem to be the only one with a dead button haha. Any ideas on what I could do to troubleshoot?

Is your Java version up-to-date?

no i'm having the same issue. i just downloaded and tested it.

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

I'll look into this immediately when I get back from class in a few hours.

Nothing relevant to file handling was changed with the last build; I'll see if I can isolate the issue.

Thanks guys!

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

yeah the data logging is working fine but the exporting isn't, this is just a screen shot of a data log.

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

Ill force update my java when I get home. It seems weird that it would work for some and not for others. Could be a corrupted java update or something screwing it up.

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

Just a PSA - you can right click in the graphing area to make the selection box go away.

You click and drag to place it, but if you just accidentally click the graph, it creates a really small selection box, which I've noticed on a lot of screenshots.

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

i don't know if this is a known issue but I can't get it to work with OSX 10.8.3 and an ARGMeter w/ Ophir V 1.1.0

I have arduino installed and it can connect just fine but I can't get peregrine to. Here is a video i made showing that it will not display any reading, if I am doing something wrong I am sorry. I thought a video would be the easiest way to see what i am talking about and what i might be doing wrong.

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

It appears that some of the event handling from the buttons has been screwed up by obfuscating the *.jar when I compiled the program. I isolated the issue after my untouched copy of the program worked fine, then the obfuscated version failed.

I think I've figured out a solution. Until I get it released, I'd recommend just using the previous build. Available through these links:

Windows: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6083542/Peregrine/Peregrine_windows32_1_0_4_2.zip
Mac OSX: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6083542/Peregrine/Peregrine_macosx_1_0_4_9.zip
Linux: (unfortunately there wasn't one)

Thanks everyone for posting about this and helping me isolate the issue!

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

Old revision worked like a champ with nothing done to Java. Hope that helps your troubleshooting.

This was a LPM test of my thumb over the Ophir. I guess my thumb is illegal in Australia? ;)

Re: Peregrine - The Free LPM Interface

Dont be giving the "thumbs up" to pilots , you'll end up in the cells :)
