Panasonic 3400mah 18650 Cell Now Available!

soz but is what I am looking for the link in your signature? And if so how much to ship to Canada?Also , which ones do I need??

The 3400 mah Panasonics are best for your initial lasers.

If you get hi-power 445nm lasers (over 2 watts) that use one 18650 cell,

then I would get the 2900 mah cells for higher output currents.

I do ship to Canada, but I have to pack the cells in equipment for post office shipping,

so it adds a few dollars (see International shipping on web page)

Yes, shipping with a charger would qualify as "equipment".

So 1 or 2 cells with a charger to Canada by US post office would be $8 for shipping up to 3 pieces.

I still need to introduce myself but I wanted to ask Larry a question about these batteries.

I have one of these on order PL 532nm 100-700

The 200mW. I need some good batteries and wanted to know if these Panasonic 3400mah will work with this laser? How about the newer 2900mah ones?

Your 200mw Green laser will need ~1 watt of battery power for the IR diode that powers it.

1 Watt is easily supplied by the 3400 mah Panasonic cell.

It will also give you the longest run times.

Only the high output 3 Watt 445nm lasers with boost circuits will need the higher current supplied by the 2900 mah Panasonic cells with 10 amp current capability.

Thanks Larry, I just placed an order thru your link. I'm fairly certain they will arrive before my laser. That holiday seems to have things backed up at Laserbtb, either that or they just don't reply to emails. I just entered the production process.

Got the cells and so far everything looks great. I topped both of them off and they finished charging with in a couple minutes of each other. Thank you for the help and answering my questions.

Order arrived today and batteries are on the charger, just out of curiosity is there a easy way to get the batteries out of that "power pack" they ship in? I just ripped the end with the springs off with a pair of pliers lol and they came right out(i was very careful not to damage batteries or the heat shrink)
