I'd recommend you not to do that. They're one of the companies that hates the fact there are laser hobbyists out there and one of the points of these new blocks is to be tamper proof. If they see we're wanting to buy them things could get worse with the next generation of lasers.
You could always go about it giving them the assumption you're a product developer. Probably work for any laser manufacturer.
"Hey ____, I'm looking for high power diodes to develop a new lighting product, and I was wondering if you could sell me any of the high power diodes you place in your NUBM08E projector blocks...."
