I picked up 10 more also.

I have around 300 Uranium marbles now. Mostly 5/8s. Eventually I want to get them melted down and get a skull, or simular freak glass item made.

I'd love to have a uranium glass Geissler tube.. they are out there but I haven't bought one. Every time one turns up I have something else to buy that's more important.

Pretty much anything blown with Uranium glass is sweet in my book.. the marbles make good glass stock for blowing too so if you know a blower you're golden.

But anyway, I've seen those tubes, and they are not cheap. If you go to the German eBay site they pop up a lot.

They were out of the clear ones so sent me cream ones instead they still illuminate but their Sh!t for our purposes :mad:

Yeah i have some of those opaque ones, they really are worthless when it comes to shining lasers at them.

I'll take one when I get home but my 700mW 405nm only got half way through it the top looks normal
 
Now i kind of feel bad for hogging them all....
