Yep I'll be showing it soon...

I did a 'Hot' option set up for ZRaffleticket with his 473nm module. So he may be able to 'shed some light' on beam diameter and divergence... :D

Edit: Check out his beam shot comparison with his labby added to the first post... :)

What's the stability on these? From what I can tell, what makes 473s nasty is that they are really unstable after 30-45 seconds and then won't like being turned on for a little while. Can you do a 1.5 minute laserbee test of them?

Re: FS: PL Series Modules From Lasever (LAB/Industrial)

Based on mine, I wouldn't run it longer than 30s. I'll pull out my LPM equipment and do a measurement of mine ^

Re: FS: PL Series Modules From Lasever (LAB/Industrial)

Yeah I think it's best to just use a duty cycle...

I have a habit of using a duty cycle with all hand held lasers. It's a good rule of thumb. :)

Jay. What is the dimensions of that blue cap/switch on the board? How far does it stick up off the board?

Just carefully pry the blue cap off of the switch plunger with a small screw driver...

Then you can just turn the switch on, and it will not stick out past the edge of the board. :)

I'm asking because I was planning on using it :)

Oh I see said the blind man...

In the off position with the blue button on there, it sticks out 6.5mm past the edge of the board. And in the on position, 4.5mm...

Hey Jay,

I've got a buddy looking for an astronomy pen. When I starting looking, I noticed there are fewer and fewer reliable sources around anymore. Does lasever have anything like that available to you? Anything we could piece together into a pointer?

Not sure about that for Lasever...

But I have pen hosts that you just get your green module for: :)
