newbie here wanting to make a 1w laser

i want to build a 1w laser, i was thinking about buying a aurora c6 just add diode kit but what do i click for output? it is in mA? im planning on getting everything off ebay, can someone help me out

If you are considering a 1W laser, your first and most important purchase will be proper safety goggles for your laser. 1W of power does not forgive any mistake that directs the beam into your eye. There is tons of info in this forum, read up a bit and many questions will be answered. The C6 is a good host, you will need a heatsink to fit it. You can get most or all of what you need from this forum. (Diode, driver, heatsink, lens, aixiz housing if not a diode pocket heatsink)

i think everyone would like to see your safety goggles before anyone considers giving you info on a dangerous laser like this.
