Hey everyone! I'm a long time lighting / electronics / gadgets enthusiast, but fairly new to lasers. I'm excited to see all the sharing of information that goes on here, and look forward to doing my first laser build. (1x18650 adjustable focus BR burner is the plan atm). I love lithium rechargeables, 18650's especially.

After all the spending on higher powered toys, my favorite thing to do with lasers is still pet laserchase games with a cheap little $9 5mW greenie. :) I haven't found anything better. :crackup:

No, I don't. I just have a point and shoot camera and I'm sure that I don't get the best out of it that it can offer. I try to use the right settings as much as possible, but I don't have any training or anything like that. Thanks everyone. The photography hobby is too damn expensive! :)

welcom to the forums!!!! this is one of my favorite "new to the forums" post i've read in a while.
At my work complex we have a lot of wild chickens and in the day time when i whip out my greenie and shine it near them they jump over it like its a rope. its hilarious!

I know that this is serious AND I am not making fun of your job (I was in construction for 13 years before going back to school).

However, the highlighted sentence above made me LOL! I imagined my work complex (a college campus) with a lot of wild chickens running around. Thanks for the laugh this morning :thanks:
