Hi Rich,
I got half an hour to make sure I'm hosting the module!
Anyway, it's a 3cm external module where I put the 12x45mm blue / violet module (I think) 1.5W with the already connected driver, the lens is the classic "acrylic" and "black" soft plastic with the black black spring!

What do you think of Riccà of this first attempt?

At 1.5W i would use a metal barrel lens, Acrylic lens no go.

3D, looks like the diode module isn't inserted all of the way into the heatsink to me. That's not optimal for cooling as it results in a reduction in surface contact between the diode module and the heatsink. Something to keep in mind. Edit: Nice looking build otherwise!

Alaskan, can you stop derailing other people's threads with this stuff. Not saying I disagree with you, but doing the same as he's doing doesn't help anything. Take it to PMs or a thread more suited to it.

Hi 3D,
Yes as Diachi said make sure the 12mm module holding the diode is flush and even with the top the heat sink for ultimate heat dispersion into the main sink. Your diode will thank you for it in the long run. Nice build..well done on to the next one..

Thanks for the advice .... it's just that was not something you wanted! I had widened the heatsink hole with a 12mm pitcher, then I plugged the complete module and arrived at some point did not go any more! then I took the Singer's oil and put it in a little bit in the heat sink, then it came in handy but not all!
However, certainly the next laser will be better! also because I'm building a small drill bit at 3 Jaws!
