Damn blue, do you make a post on this forum anymore that is not a shameless plug of your supposed ability to build something for cheaper than everyone else? frag this is annoying. it's like your a car salesman walking around telling everyone about the deals that only you can provide. stop it man. that or shooting down (rudely I might add) someone elses idea's and thoughts. Dude, you need to do some serious personal inventory and check to see where your priorities are.

Depending on the reviews, I'm either going to buy this laser, or build a 405nm laser. I can't wait to see the reviews, some one must have received it by now!

It's probably gonna be less than 10 times crappier ::)
 
As far as I know, Hong Kong post is relatively fast (Item left on 9th March, arrived 10th or 11th, and yes my memory is that bad). They just shipped out my 30mW but the 200 still reads as "packaging".
 
Usually once DX ships from their warehouse it arrives in the northeast US in around a week, i look forward to seeing some reviews of this laser
 
For $50, and it's a red laser (No more IR worries), I doubt it'll be a huge disappointment. I think as long as it burns matches and pops balloons fast, people will probably go crazy for this thing since it's so cheap. I'll order one if it has a stable output of 150mW+

Also to grn, if you get the laser but know batteries it is still easy to power it up, get a 4aa holder from radioshack or almost any electronics store. Get alligator clips and then simply clip the negative onto the case and the postivie onto the contact in the front (that one could be tricky but just taping it there would probably provide enough contact). It wont look as nice but it will provide the exact same power that those two batteries would... and batteries would last longer.

everyone should please stop posting crap like this, nobody owns one, so nobody should say "i think it's gonna be crap"

a ton of people have ordered them so within a week or so we should have some proof of weather or not these lasers are legit/ worth the money
