Same here but I ordered 09/01/2009

Late is fine with me this is looking promising for a first green laser. I have a strong red laser from a cheapy airsoft gun that I will compare to once it gets here.

I asked that too, they also said it was fine, but the next day they told me they had to put the label back. They guaranteed it would arrive even with the label. Here's the the messages:

Please remove all warning labels from the laser pointer.

Dear friend,
Thank you for your order.
OK, we will remove that label from the laser pointer.
Best regards,

Sorry to bother you again but how long does shipping usually take?

BIC Customer Service - 2009-08-30 11:47:32
Usually it takes 2 weeks to arrive.
But we are so sorry to tell that we can't remove the label as the customs didn't allow us to do that. We have to attach the label again:(

Best regards,
BIC Customer Service

Placed the order on 4th Sept and get it today. No lable on them as I asked the customer service to removed that.It seems before you ask them remove for you they has already send it out so they say they cannt. Test everything .:thanks: ill leave feedback for them (seems important for them).

My package with 10 lasers of different strengths (5-200mW) arrived today. I'll measure them once my LaserBee arrives.

I am a bit dissatisfied that they sent me P1 versions when ordering P2. This is however addressed with them for a solution. Their P1 versions feel kind of "cheap" where the P2's are steady and fine.

I am particular satisfied with their "200mW" (saying "" until I get the Bee). It has a quite good divergence and lights red tip matches easily holding both laser and match in hand (== bit shaky).

Especially for the price tag! ;)

I ordered a p2 <50mW laser. This is my first laser and I can't give you any idea of what the average output is, but IMO it seems pretty impressive. Shipping was fast (to the UK) took about 10 days to arrive.

Good range of spot and beam is visible in the dark.

Dear friend,
We apologize for the delay in responding you as we don't work on Saturday.

We should have emailed you that P3 was out of stock before. P3 style arrived on last Friday and we have sent out the parcel. Sorry for not updating the online status in time.
You will get the parcel in 2 weeks as usual.

Best regards,
BIC Customer Service

I'm still waiting - haven't checked the mail yet today, though .... The modules that were shipped on the same day by Faona are here already though (last thurs) so I'm hoping any day now!

Speaking of modules, I sent back a 150mW to Faona awhile back, and the replacement was not only a "no button" style, but the one that failed at 124mW was replaced with one that hits 101mW ... not a step in the right direction IMHO, oh well!

I ordered 10 P2's, got all P1s.

I follow you now. Yea, I've just looked closer at the photos, mine's a p1. if you look at the prices though the p1 is a little more expensive, so atleast its not cheaper. I guess they ran out of p2s or something.

They seem the same essentially other than the aesthetics. I'm very pleased with mine. Only issue i find is where the batteries sometimes make a poor connection and the light isn't bright, which I solved by just unscrewing and rescrewing the end, which 2nd time around made a better grip.

The build quality is nice and they have a comfortable weight.

In my opinion the P1's (the one you split in the middle) vs their P2's are quite crappy. They feel cheap & glitches (as you said above :)).

This sucks because I'll probably have to send these back.

I am glad you are satisfied with yours.

Mikael

That's common with this style, unfortunately. Did anyone get a chance to throw any of these on an LPM yet? I'm still waiting for mine - it's funny too because I've been at this long enough to know that the best way to deal with Chinese shipping is to just forget you ordered stuff until it shows up, but I REALLY would like to know if these are decent considering the price point..

FYI....I have come to realize that the version that I recieved was the Version 1 not verson 2
