What I'm gonna do is subject the 474.5 I have to as much [ab]use as I can do with the nano driver. Long duty cycles, lots of off and on in short intervals, that kind of thing. I'm really hoping that it lives through that so that I don't need to worry about accidentally killing the 480.2nm I have. Even if I have to scale it down to suggested operating current; that's not one I want dying. Whenever I get that driver, the test shall begin.
I don't imagine too many people will be upset about the 474.5 being abused like this. More tests are always good; and this should cover the most extreme case...
I don't think these are in limited production; though they aren't as easy to source as what we're used to on the forums. At least it's not like it was back when 405's came out and people tore down PS3's to get them...
