Just got done building this beauty. It really shines. Both the host and the laser coming out of it.
This M140 diode puts out over 2W and at only 1.4A
Focuses with a 405-G-2 lens
Powered up by 2X 16340 AW IMR cells (needed and included for this kind of output)
Driven by a modified Jib 500mA driver now putting out 1.4A heatsinked to the pill.
Aluminum heatsink with Aixiz module so 30 on/off second duty cycles....you'll feel it get warm past that. You can also do 1min on 2 off if you prefer.
You can choose the focus adapter or the normal focus ring. I actually prefer the aixiz ring on this build.
This is a very small laser considering it is 2W. The price is also smaller than most 2W lasers I build. It's SOLD for $250 (SOLD) shipped priority. You have till Saturday night to buy it.
