Re: New 1.3-2.5W 445nm Flash Freeze/Black Ice Lasers Free US Shipping
Hey everyone,
I'm a little late putting this on but my batteries finally arrived and I was able to light my 2.5W I got from ApexProxy. All I can say is WOW, his thing is absolutely incredible! I took Apex's advice and waited for the sun to set before testing it into the sky. The beam is amazing, it looks so solid that you could reach out an hold onto it.
The build quality is fantastic. I am very pleased with my first purchase through this forum and I think I will be purchasing another if I can scrape together the funds. Apex was easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions. The laser was shipped within a day of the payment and arrived at my door (Canada) about a week later. The laser was well packed with bubble wrap and cardboard box in a padded envelope. The batteries were a differet story but it was expected with the order coming from Deal Extreme. I'm just glad they finally came, and now that they are here I am having a hard time putting the laser down. I have done some sky shots to admire the beam, and some burning to admire the power. The power on this thing is far more than I could have imagined. I have some other high power lasers but nothing close to this monster. If anyone is in the market for a 445, I would highly recomend this laser to you. I plan to get some pictures (and perhaps a video) to post to show this off.

Amazing laser. All I have to say. Shipping was very quick as well. Excellent work ApexProxy. You will most likely hear from me again when you have more for sale. Photos taken with HTC EVO 3D.

Just wanted to say that ApexProxy makes such a good product that I invested in a second one and it just arrived today. Workmanship is just as good as the last one and I am thoroughly pleased with the product. :gj:
My first one had a G2 lens and I decided to go with the 3 element lens on this one because I wanted a beam with less divergence. I realize I could have just picked up the lens and put it on my first laser, but why do that when I can have a laser in each hand!!
I just read the OP and I am looking forward to seeing what the new host will look like once some pics have been uploaded. If anyone is thinking of picking up a 445 off this forum I would recommend ApexProxy for sure.

I have decided to continue these lasers. I have several new batches in progress now that should be complete within a couple weeks. Updates will be posted on my progress.
EDIT: For the DIY kits I am still working out pricing and options. When I have them finalized I will post them. It may still be a couple+ weeks out. Shipping is painfully slow.

I should have another batch done this weekend as long as my parts arrive on time. Kits are still a possibility but they likely won't happen until after I move in July.
