Did you swap put the pictures? For a moment over the bottom two lasers, in the top pic, they were blocked by a white box with the word "sold" in it. Then I refreshed and the two boxes were gone...

The PLC -III is not focusable.
It has a movable aperture shield (one of the FDA's required "safety" features)

It does have a very thin beam with low divergence

Peace,

Got my driver, diode and connector in the mail today!
Thanks much for getting it all out so quickly!

I have updated the OP with additional stuff (beam show, labbies, HeNe's)

In addition, because of shipping damages, I have the 445nm diodes from the first XJ-H1600 available for sale.

I worked out a deal with the seller for the damaged projector so that I can still offer the diodes from this 3500 lumen projector for only $35 each :san:
($40 pressed into a module: $45 pressed into a module with leads attached)

I am only offering this for this ONE projector. I am NOT going back into the diode business.

Peace,
dave

I will grab that #3 for $17!!!!!! Can't believe it hasn't sold for that price. I will also grab 7 445nm diodes if you have 7 left.

Just throwing this out there Dave, this wasn't updated 4/25, last I checked it's still January ;)

Also impatiently waiting for that doorbell to ring some time this week :p

Haha, no problem man I just wanted to make sure you didn't forget to flip the callendar. We all make mistakes (I've made a few today so far).

Got my first package today! Thanks Dave.

Hypothetical question: let's pretend that I don't "love" the clear coat finish on the kryton host. What would you suggest?

Paint it black?

Or if I were to strip it down to the aluminum, what method would you recommend?

Thanks!
