Need people interested in 6X cylindrical pairs for the NUBM44

I'm thinking about a compact NUBM06 build corrected for short duty cycle use, I actually wonder about that new 470nm 9mm diode, has anyone pushed one yet to see what they will do and what the divergence is?

I bet an 07e or the new 470nm would be gorgeous with correction.

I will try to test my 07e later with a 6x pair I have on hand and see what I get, I bet it will be good.

It is usually pretty quick. Once I have all the funds and send payment the express shipping to me takes only a couple days then I send off to everyone else. My guess is about a week or so after everyone pays. One person might not have funds till the end of the week but if it comes down to waiting on him I wil just cover him till he has the funds so we can get the order going. Will keep everyone updated on any new events as they happen.
 
I tested a 6X Cyl pair on my NUBM07e and they work great, I used a G2 and the burning power is not as ferocious as the NUBM44 but the beam/line is beautiful, there is some vertical splash at the target but my G2 is a little dirty and this pair could be as well, but a front cover with an exit hole a couple inches from the pair could block any splash.

My camera does not do the blue line justice, it is a bright straight looking ribbon, without the 6X the line at 15 feet with a G2 is 1.7 inches wide and slow to burn in, the ends are weaker than the center, but with the 6X pair it makes a nice line out of it that's a bit under a 1/4 inch at 15 feet, the beam is greatly improved. This should fire into podo's 3X expander and work quite well.

Nice work RedCowboy. Most of the builds you do are so freaking awesome. I love real nice beamspecs so I mostly stick with single mode diodes but between your corrected diodes and Alaskans expanded beams really makes me want one haha. I think I'm going to have to build a corrected 07E so I can add one more wavelength and hopefully get a nice beam out of it too.

Thank you for helping with the lenses, I'd sure like to see you post some photo's of some of your projects too Glutton. I've been impressed with RCB's stuff as well as his understanding of the problems with these multimode diodes and others. I've enjoyed reading his posts and seeing his photo's over the last year.

My projects lately have been 1/8th scale on road nitro rc cars. I'm building an Xray RX8 2016 spec right now and it is sweet. I found the kit on ebay for 250 new and got some deals on the other stuff. Basically got a $1800 car for less than $450 haha. I'm real stoked about it n can't wait to race it.
 
Quick update, only waiting on lightsuperglue to pay for his 2 and bdgreenb to pay his set. Once received I can send off for the lenses.
 
Wow, incredible how fast the thing has started to move after I committed to buy 4 sets instead of 2! But maybe it is just a coincidence...
Many months no movement here and now I just left the forum for 2 days and I am finding myself the last one who did not yet send the funds.
Funny that I do not even have to buy more than 2 to keep the GB alive.

Actually your only 2nd to last to pay lol. Just waiting on bdgreenb for his funds. I went ahead and covered his money for now so I could get them ordered for the rest of you right away. Besides, if he backs out I doubt I will have any trouble finding someone who wants them. Will update when I have news.

If he doesn't get them I will, I want to build a quad beam pistol, I know it will get hot fast but it would be fun, right now I keep finding other things to spend money on.
