need 100 5mw 405nm (blacklight) lasers cheap.

I have searched the webs for days and cant seem to find a great deal on these.
I would prefer a starfield tip, but its not 100% needed.
Anybody ever buy in bulk?
Anybody have a recommendation for me?

I know most posters here are more into the high-end products, but any advice is welcome.

I checked CNI and dealextream, but both are overpriced compared to other sites I found.
Laserpens are what im looking for, even keychain lasers will work.
 
Mike, if you need only 5mw, you can buy ANY 405nm laser. Don't bother with anything like CNI, because you're never going to end up with a laser that doesn't at least live up to 5mw.

Try ebay. You should be able to find them for about $7 each. Surely that's within your budget?
 
i think he wants a 500mw 405 laser lol. 100x 5mw + duct tape = 500mw right?!? lol

Tlyons, I am not gonna tape them together, i need at least 100 individual pens...
Gonna be used for a party if i can get them cheap enough..
So far i have found them for about 5 bucks, cheaper than ebay...
Still hope to get them cheaper. (maybe if i order 1000?)
Im still hunting....

(and i will put up epic pics of party if it all goes down)

Actually, I gave you irresponsible advice.
While a 5mw ebay laser won't be underspec, it could be quite overspec. If used at a party, that's actually a bad thing. 100x laser pointers at 60mw is a recipe for disaster
 
Especially if people using them are new to lasers. They won't understand why they can't point these dim lights into eyes.
 
Alcohol + lasers * 100 = disaster (and possible lawsuit). Not a very good idea IMO
 
the only way i could see it going down safe and cool is if you mounted them parallel to the ceiling on the ceiling.

youb be better off and buying a cheap chinese rgv scanner.
