Thanks. I think the middle leg was moving and blurry. I remember it was a spider when I shot it. I found another pic that shows that leg, but another blurry and moving.
I really zoomed in a lot to better see the spider and did some over sharpening.
It's weird and annoying how the forum seems to reduce the contrast and saturation, and increases brightness.
Looks like spring has sprung in TN. Fortunately, it is not hot here at all. I do hate hot weather. I put in an A/C just so I wouldn't have to deal with it.
When I first saw these I thought it was some weird fungus or mutation or who knows what, but upon closer inspection I found they were several tiny flowers crammed together.
The green leaves are a giveaway that this is not a fungi. Chlorophyll doesn't exist in yeasts or fungi. Can't say what it is. I kind of slept through plant biology in college. It wasn't something I was very interested in. Nice photos, though.
Fungi tend to grow on dead things. Mushrooms you will find on cow patties and rotting wood. Some can actually kill the host they are invading making it easier to use for food. But, that normally happens in things that are already immunocompromised.
Those are cool, Nutball. I see the droplets in the flora. Is the reflection from your camera? It looks like it must be part of the lighting you are using.
