I totally agree. And no, I think it's just a FlexDrive. It still holds pretty constantly at 547-555mW though!

You have to stare into the beam. If you still have your site after 30 seconds, its not powerful enough.

Hahaha helll yes! I was going to get an 8x but then an irresistible offer came up for this 12x for like $40 more than what I was going to get the 8x for. So I jumped on it!

Without a doubt Apparently you updated the laser too and it had ~2 hours of use on it. $388 for the laser and batteries and stand and charger!!
