I just finished my new build using the NDB7675 laser diode! I'm using a custom host by Ehgemus with a V7 adjustable flex drive set to 2.0A. The laser runs on 2x 18650 batteries. I have had this diode sitting around for a month so I am glad to finally make use of it.
Here is a picture of the completed laser:
The beam of this laser is BLUE!
As usual, I am impressed by the host made by Ehgemus. I love his work!
Just a moth enjoying the new laser.
And a beam comparison against a ~1.7W 450nm laser. This picture is straight from the camera, unedited.
All in all a nifty laser diode! This one bridges yet another gap in the wavelengths available to hobbyists.
And finally a PIV plot for this diode:
There will most likely not be a video on this laser.
