My Monster 6+ watt Laser Build Has Started !






I got the 22650 Li-ion batteries but they were the type of flat top batteries that won't make electrical connection between the two Li-ion batteries and i'd NEVER use a neodymium magnet as a conductor of electrical current between two Li-ion batteries....





So i broke out the old and trusty weller and solder bumped the positive terminal as i have done countless times without issue....






And threw them in the Nitecore and charged them up.....





Now for the big moment of truth and the reason i went out of my way and found 22650 Li-ion cells, They fit my Green Monster host build perfectly and without a mm to spare !!!







I really wanted to use every mm of space the Green Monster had and the 22650's were the perfect choice because they will give me about 20% to 30% more capacity over the typically used 18650's and if you have the room why not fill it with more capacity !


Now the only thing left is the laser module and it's time for first light !
 
So what's taking so long for the diode and module? Dtr, does ship quick..
 
Yep, it is, sort of, but you will receive it if you PM an address in Las Vegas to send it to.
 
No, I think someone highjacked the real Acc's name and you are really someone else :p

If I am wrong, I would be very happy.
 
Notice I'm trying to get off as cheap as I can with the BB and not the diode.
