My Blu-Ray 8X laser Saved My Ass!!!

I found a nice 200mw 532nm laser pointer some time ago,... When you remove the cap there is a focusing lens that can be adjusted with a little screwdriver that transforms this laser pointer into a disruptor,... There is even a frequency control switch with 0.003khz/0.009khz mode or continous. If i have some energy and time i will post some pictures in the near future. :tired:

That's a pretty cool story, lol. I used to keep one of my green pointers in my car for that same purpose. Never really had to use it for that though. Hope I didn't just jinx myself.

Now that I think about it, I did use a 5mW green on some asshat driver on the beltline. Some grandpa was holding up traffic in the right lane (about 10mph under the limit..) during rush hour, so some dick decided to get up beside him on this two lane stretch of highway and match his speed so everyone on the friggin road has to drive the speed of grandpa. Im behind this guy, and just about have to slam on brakes to keep from rearending him...then he speeds up a bit, slows back down, again and again, looking up in his rear view mirror the whole time.

However, once the dot hit his dashboard, his beat up CRX transformed into a Murcielago...

Now you must also assess what may have also happened. I am glad that it worked out well, however...
If this man had been flash blinded or his sight impaired at all even momentarily, which it of course was, then when he got back into his car to drive away he could have causes a serious accident.

What if he in panic sped off whilst his vision was impaired and crashed into another car or a tree killing innocent bystanders to the event or himself?

I think i would have taken the military training disarming route and send him on his way without his bat.

I love it! It is amazing how blinding and disorienting an 8x can be when unfocused and shined in your face. I've tried it on myself. The effect is very effective.

Awesome story!...now I can tell my friends and my girl that laser pointers/torches aren't only for pointing, burning or playing around with!(well that's what i mostly do with the ones i had/have)...good call with the gun btw, if it were me, i probably pulled that out instead ...

now if it were a 12x...
