My 8x Pioneer build

that beamshot is impossible? i thought green lasers where more visible then blue-violet....and my 50mw green laser is about 4 times less powerful then that blue-violet beam pic.

Digital cameras pick up blu-ray 405nm wavelength quite easily. Better than what your eyes can.

Green is more visible to the human eye than bluray, yet a digital camera is not a human eye.

According to MISTERWILLING it will burn through paper like it's not even there. His projected output is 532mW @ 420mA. I really want one of these 8X as well, they're just so expensive right now.

The yellow goggles that come with the Autozone leak detection kits work fairly well and (the kit) only cost $15.00 :-)

about blu-ray human eye to digi cam viewing. it will usually look different to everybody every way. ive read the 405nm is a color that cant be duplicated on screen or in print.

Ross ---
You are getting about the same power as I got at 310 mA. If you are impressed now ----- just try that G-1 lens. They are amazing.

You will find the G-1 lens to require very little turning to go from close to far. You will likely experience a burning sensation on your fingers as you focus! The lens housing usually goes deep into the module.

That sounds handy. My new heatsink is flush with the top of the Aixiz housing. I hope that isn't a problem.

Ah, so the lens finally arrived! Now I have to come over and see it in action!
