my 820mW 12x!

I think I put bdr-so6j I'n the op but I may have forgotten it, i feel it should be called a 12x diode if it's just as if not more efficient that the light on sled? Is it technically a 12x or a 10x?

if i was unclear^^^ yest it is the BDR sled, from glenn

NP Jake, I do that a lot when replying... miss immediate reponses. Thanks for letteing me know. For some reason I'm hooked on side clickys that are press=on/release=off lately because they're (1) not common outside of 532nm and (2) make beaming rapid fire possible

alright everybody, check out the beam pics. which all of this is in my updated review of the host in my sig.

EDIT: missed your post while i was posting agian danefex! haha.

but with this one, when you have it on, you can do that, slight press to turn it off on off on off on once it is in the "on" mode

I'm sneaky like that Jake... thanks for adding the pics, just more of a push for me to get a 12X diode to complete my own personal build. As always, thanks for sharing these  SOOOOoooo... you're saying then, if you were in one of those 'machine-gun laser' firing moods - you could do it with pressing the side cliky down slightly while 'on'? If so - I know what you mean, it's much like a geenie in that aspect.... To that I say 'swweeeeet' and I'll probably get the host afterall :D

the question is,,,, did it live after the video? that had to have been 800-900mA, and thats assuming a 405-g-1 lens!!

Just a word of warning on sf-bw512L based builds. I personally wouldn't push one of those much past 700mW. I've had 3 LED on me when running between 750 and 800mW.

Awesome jake, thanks for the pics and info:). I have a build that I think I may push a little harder on output now based on your results man. I wish I had a LPM looking into getting one otherwise just shooting into the dark on estimated output.

You can send me anything you want metered for free my good sir

Edit: alright everybody, I have done 30 1 minute cycles already on it last night in the first day. So it has at least 30 minutes run time on it ( not including all the other times I was just outside lasing in the sky. And not a single 1mW drop in the power so far. So I'm hoping for a happy and long life of this BDR diode.

Great work Jake, I know some of those 12X diodes are very efficient... & Thanks for taking part in my sled GB, I have a few more sleds, and I may re-order too... -Glenn

Congrats on your awesome build! :gj: Thanks for the pics & the inspiration. I just got 2 BDR sleds from Glenn, and I'm planning a 405 build. I hope mine comes out half as good as yours. +1
