I apologize for my "special effects"...Exactly what I meant, they're there because they're "ALWAYS" (in all caps, bold, and yellow. Thanks Jerry but I can still read even without the special effects) available but "NEVER" used.
We have been looking and talking to a few members
Do you (or anyone else) have any members you would recommend as a moderator?
We would prefer that the new moderator NOT be limited to only this board though
Avery has said that he'll look at removing them after their paid time is up.
He's not level tempered enough to Mod. I agree with the others you listed though. Why dont you do it Phi?I know quite a few members, like Eudaimonium,
just make the thread,Do we have to PM you before we write a thread, or can we just make the thread and wait for you to open it?
When someone tries to start a thread, the forum will let them build the thread (and hit "post")
However, it will not be displayed until a member of the admin team "approves" it
C0ldshadow has it set up so that all of the members of the admin team get an email when someone tries to start a thread
We think that this will get timely approval of qualifying threads
There will sometimes be a delay between when the poster hit "post" and when a mod logs on to approve the thread
And I suppose there is some factual evidence there to support your statement? He's not level tempered enough to Mod.
Weren't we ALL like that, before we grew up?You're a very passionate person, and stand hard on your view point. This lets your emotions control your actions. I'm the same way.
A Mod needs to be passive, level headed, and with an open mind. Passionate people have a harder time being that way. Its not an insult, its a fact. I couldn't be a mod. I'd ban half the forum, LMAO.
You just proved my point. I wasn't attacking you, yet you jump right on the defense, and made some assumptions to strengthen your view point.Weren't we ALL like that, before we grew up?
Think you're right, try to force your point of view to other people, do stupid shit, take responsibility for repercussions. It's the only way we ever do mature up into responsible people with enough foresight to be aware of reactions to our actions.
Then you go past that and look back, and wonder how the hell did that ever seem like a good idea at the time.
[Before you start getting any bright come-back ideas, I am talking about me and my own past here].
And no, not much of a point except maybe, you may want to re-evaluate your judgement of me after... what's it been? 2-3 years?
