Murder fund for 16x M-DISC burner? (BW-16D1HT)

No worries, I'll cover yours till then, so it won't hold up the murder.

I think we're just waiting for Reiign. Visible Green is a backup (unless I'm misunderstanding). Although I also may have misunderstood Reiign's post as an indication that he was in, maybe he's not.

That's possible. Did you send him a pm? Yep when you need me to pitch in just let me know and :paypal:

I did - and it's my bad for questioning - he responded saying he would send the payment soon. So presumably its on its way shortly.

Sorry for the delay. I got caught up doing a few things. Sent the money so let the murdering begin!

extracting them seems so hard. There has to be some kind of trick to making it easier. I usually break most of them trying to get them out lol

Two pairs of needle nose pliers on each end of the heat sink and gently twist them until it breaks free. And I mean very carefully :o It's intimidating at first but you get a knack for it the more you do it ;)

It is, and some are worse than others.
Some of us have been taking things apart
almost from birth. It isn't something you
can just decide to do one day if you have
never done it before. It takes a lot of
practice, patience, and mechanical
flexibility. Even then there are things
that can go wrong. One little slip and the
window is scratched or broken. Pins bend
and break.

Yeh i know this all to well. I have been pulling things apart since i was a kid. Usually things people throw out etc. The cd burner drives i used had some crazy overkill heatsinks. I would like to buy one of these tho if it turns out to be beast.

No worries re the extraction. They tend to all be fairly similar.

I ordered from a Canadian site, so it may actually reach me today.

^^^ I always have you covered just in case my friend;)

Update :pop:
