After some more help from Mario, and consulting Sam's Laser FAQ, I got it fired up!

It puts out about 2-3mW at idle. Now I need to get a new PSU and a controller.

I'm going to be selling the PSU soon, because I can't keep going in the laundry room to power it up.

I have a PSU and remote interface for it. However, you might be surprised at how much the remotes go for. Most peole end up building one, but I like all the readings displayed nicely.
