Multi-wave Goggles GB- ML7's ** Now Closed**

Our order has been placed with OEM, they should be on the way soon. I already have most of the packages ready for re-shipping so as soon as I get the bulk-shipment, they will be going right back out.
We ended up ordering a total of 12-pairs of ML-7 goggles, Thank you everyone!! :)

Can't wait too. Need them so I can test out my red laser at higher power ;)

I got one question, if I have worn glasses already, then Style 60 Softie Goggle is suitable for me?

Or any one can give me better suggestion? thanx!!

That workbench is disgustingly clean and clear.

I'm going to want to see some clutter on that thing by the weekend!

Peace,
dave

Hey, I took the good time and trouble to clean it just for you.

Sorry no drinks allowed on the work benches. Keeps us from having to clean coke out of the drivers, laser heads, and test equipment.

OEM did send me notification of shipment yesterday, so the should be at my door early next week, they will be all sent out immediatly, (next business-day).
That is a pretty clean bench btw, I think it is stagged ::)

LOL, it is staged. You should see it right now, it's covered in lab stands, meters, power meters and lots of little electronic parts and pieces.

So I received this really big box yesterday, that was full of really nice laser protection-goggles. All of them look really nice.
My impressions now that I am actually able to evaluate in person, wow, we picked the right ones!! ;D
First, they are much easier to see through than I thought they would be, 13% VLT is fine, I can walk around an average-lighted room without any problem, outside in the sun, they would be just about right. The color that you see through them is a medium-dark tint, I see it mostly as a dark-grey with a greenish-tint, somewhat like brazing-goggles for gas-welding, but not nearly as dark.
I tested some burning with my 200mW-532, this makes such a difference, it almost seamed like my laser was more powerful, because of the better focusing ability these afforded me. Next I fired a 100mW-405nM laser at the lenses, nothing came through :o. For those of you who were concerned about them not being specifically certified for 405nM yet, worry no more, they will work great!! You will be able to see your spot on almost any surface, but only the fluorescence-reflection, not the 405nM-light. Again, this allowed for precision-focusing of the laser, more burning. They are listed as OD5 from 190-400, well I can tell you, I could not detect any of my 100mW-405nM laser making it through the lense! I placed my thermopile behind the lense, zeroed out the meter, turned on the Sonar and guess what the meter said...O, Keep in mind that this meter reads about 5mW when my hand gets withing a foot of the sensor, just from body-heat!
These will be getting packaged-up today and sent out in the morning.
All I can say is I hope everyone is as happy with these as I am, they are everything that has been promised, thanks everybody! Special thanks to Frothy Chimp for all of the help that he and OEM Laser Systems has provided for this GB, they have really lived up to their reputation.
