Modwerx 1w vs Hightechdealz 1w 445nm?

Ok so i was debating between buying a Hightechdealz 1w laser diode : HighTechDealZ - 445nm 1W (1000mW) Blue Brand New Laser Diode or the Modwerx 1w diode : 5.6mm 445nm ~1W laser diode [M0020] - $51.99 : Modwerx Shop . I was wondering which one is better in terms of lifetime and power. Answers from experience would be great. Also, if i properly heatsink both the driver and the diode, how much mA would be suitable for a long lifetime?

dear god i remember back when they were 38.50$ now there in the upper 50$??? seems like i got to go and cut some prices again. when will they learn.
I got 2 whole 140 projectors sitting with all diodes intact. i smell something in the air.
Stay around 1W for good life pushing any higher without some serious calculations and knowing your stuff can blow things early.

also i have another question. If i put it in a modwerx heatsink : Lab style heatsink for 12mm laser modules [M0035] - $20.99 : Modwerx Shop would i need somekind of fan or something? i have read in the forum of people using fans but i cant seem to find how they do.



edit: if i bought it from you, it says 1.5-2 w so how much mA would the diode take for a long life?

I say spend $50 on one already in an aixiz house from DTR then and a lense other then the stock aixiz.

so what do you not understand about being an LLC? its a business.. do any of you pay any sales taxes or any other taxes? i love how you guys always like to whine about things like this..

Well being that this is a hobby of mine and it does not support my life so I don't flie taxes on it.
Also that being said I'm not bad mouthing and id did several 445nm diodes sales. So I do offer my "wares", it has just been some time.
Like any hobby a break is needed. I don't think you should be offended by someone wanting to help the comunity by giving them better prices.
Just like the galvo gb I'm doing pt 30k galvos for under 180 to your door.
Should spacelas be mad at me for wanting and making things cheaper?
Also if u buy the 140s each diode boils down to 31.3x$ per diode even with sales tax shipping a price of over 50 seems hi thus why I do what I do.
Its nothing to the person or site just I know what the cost is and the profit.
I do own a llc here in mi but I got specail tax status due to my states programs. So I could call this hobby a busines and still keep prices low.
With all the programs out there in the system you can get a lot and pay very little.

Most consumers don't care about how much it costs to run a business - it's not their concern. They want the best deal they can get. Competition is good for consumers, and forces businesses to lower their costs to stay competitive.

Now dissolve that LLC and save yourself paying those pesky LLC fees to the state.

And none of us are saying you dont.
no one is arguing that fact that you have more years doing this.
You have a site that sells many great things to the members such as those optic mounts look great not to mention you do have a near perfect record.
But all this does mean you charge higher than normal, not a bad thing.
You run like a business and operate like a business and are accountable and charge like a business.
That is fantastic that you can do that.
But some of us are hobbyists, who only goal is to learn and see new things and sometimes cant all afford the business price but we can afford the hobbyist prices. sure they are not as solid or accountable as you but it works and things get done.
I don't remember telling you to break any laws. if i did im more than sorry for suggesting it.
I don't buy from you, or most sellers i like to make my own down to my drivers. i don't trust others.
Are you swearing at me or the community its hard to tell with the way you worded it.
Also a bit confused you said "your asses" mine as in i have more than one or is there a group as a whole?
