Military Drones To Fly Over U.S. Cities

You didnt read the link or watch the video. Obama signed it in, and Miami already has one. The government is going to fund the whole thing.

I was a bit ambiguous - the drones thing has been all over reddit recently. Heard enough about it to want to flee...

I mention Ron Paul because it seems like Obama's put some of the old Bush policies into turbo mode - for example, NDAA as an extension to the powers the Patriot Act gave to the government. I feel like any of the other right-wing candidates (other than Paul) will be just as bad about strengthening the presidency as Obama has been.

Orwell would not be pleased. :(

They bug your home phone, they bug your mobile phone, they bug your car, they bug your internet, they bug your TV, they bug your spending, they read your mail, and there are cameras everywhere. Now they are watching from above.

Is it me, or is this really F**ked up!!!

Nah.... it's not you it's really F**ked up!!!
and it will only get worse...:undecided:

The only way I could agree to all this checking up
on your vital signs is if I had a fully functioning switch
that allowed me to have a choice to totally deny the
spying...

Weekly World "News" is an online tabloid... while there may be some truth in this story, maybe even more than we'd like, WWN is not a good news source.

If you guys weren't such rascals, you wouldn't worry about things like flying drones and surveillance cameras. :na:

Of course! If you're not doing anything wrong, what do you have to hide right?:shhh::crackup:

:D

We're all just batteries anyway, none of this really matters. :tinfoil:

I actually saw the news on TV. I just did a quick look on the web for some sources. I dont follow any left, or right wing outlet specifically.

Its not that you are doing something wrong. Its the fact any technology like this can be abused, either by the good guys, or the bad guys. There is no such things as "cant be hacked". The human error is always present, so there is always a risk.

Also that "you have nothing to worry about if you're doing nothing wrong" speal is BS. Privacy is privacy. You should be allowed to exist without someone watching over your shoulder. What if they started putting cameras in all the bathroom stalls? You're not doing nothing wrong in there, but you dont want someone watching you take a sh*t either. We are suppose to have the right to privacy, but obviously that right has been sold long ago, and we as a people just bent over and took it. Its sad.

TJ there are so many cameras out in use now private and commercial that I just assume somebody has us all on camera at some point each day.

The saddest part about this is the general public actually believes the government somehow needs the drones to spy on them and thats why they want to use them.

Just take a look at Google Maps, or Earth. Thats what they allow us to see. Do you really think they need the drones?

Satellite technology is FAAAR beyond what even the most informed satellite guru even knows. They have filters now (hardware & software) that can penetrate and see through the thickest of clouds, and even thunder storms, and get a crystal clear image down to about a few inches of resolution. << Thats no secret, so imagine what they REALLY have.

The drones are just another scare tactic to keep people inside, and to scare them into not doing anything outside that they "arent supposed to do", cuz they might see you.

Trust me, they dont need the drones.

This is pretty bad, cuz now im going to probably have to get a license to fly my R/C FPV, and UAV aircraft. All part of the plan!!

Tech_Junkie - You are absolutely right, and I have to agree with you in saying this is f***ed up. However, I think you are being a little bit paranoid when you worry about being watched. Unless you are a suspect of terrorism or someone highly involved in the black market (or a very "important" person), I highly doubt anyone will be 'watching' you to any significant degree.
That being said, everyone inherently has a right to privacy, drug overlord or not. I, up in Canada, am simply feeling a delayed effect of the new legislation being passed in America. The world really seems to be turning into an oligarchy of nanny-states doesn't it? (or perhaps something reminiscent of a totalitarian regime).

In terms of satellites watching us, a satellite would not be able to see much in significant resolution, on earth's surface. Not like the movies where they can capture license plates..Perhaps 6 pixels would fit on a license plate haha.

Either way, I don't like the way things are headed and might just live in the woods or something of the kind.

um? seeing as how the ruling party is committing genocide on unbelievable levels (pfitzer; all pills have msg/other poison in fillers/capsules, owns monsanto (gmo sterilization of population) which owns blackwater, not to mention the poisoning of food, via hfcs, hydrogenated oils/mono&dyglycerides/transfats/canola, aluminum/msg (alzheimers) & other poisons added to all sorts of daily products from umbrella 'organ'izations), and since sodomy (templar) is literally required to become part of politics... kinda thinking the gay agenda was just a massive push for recruiting.
:whistle:them playing with bots is really a non issue. :P the fMRI/whatnot mind technology would actually make the world a safer place, if power was spread out enough. i cant imagine what would happen if we actually used the tech to ask questions of evil politicians. apparently you have to do something bad so they can hold it over your head, so you can be more trusted? explains pedophilia rates a bit i think; sorta machiavellian power junk.
now vampire/zombie movies with drones would be more interesting :P

supposedly social security is costing more than all taxed income, and i could almost even understand making children retarded... but adding canola/hydrogenated/&cancer poisons to kid's food/products? they're apparently after $, and power consolidation, the rest is incidental.
and why not? info i find cheerful is the psyop contract for $7 mil that the US military had up for a couple websites to be made for keeping military docs in the dark; which would give the impression that the internet will stay up for a couple years at least (if $7mil is worth anything anymore). and genocide cant last with the net up :)

That is where you are wrong, they can put a dime on a rock and tell you what the year is on the dime. That was on the Science Channel years ago. They were bragging about it.

Your right. Its just another non-issue distraction created to take the populations attention from the things that really matter.

@AAlasers, Ha, yea, right. Some movie technology is far more real than you can imagine. Do you know what the Hubble Space Telescope really is? Its a KH12 Keyhole Satellite. There are actually 4 (likely more) of them, and they were not built to look at the stars. That was just an excuse to get the funding. That being said, considering the incredible resolution the HST is able to take photo of things light years away, how capable do you think it is at much closer range. I know, I know, the optics werent designed for such close range.......look again......it has macro capabilities and can focus very well within a hundred miles of its aperture. It orbits at about 300 miles... You do the math!!! Its Ancient technology now. Oh, and Google owns one of them!!!!

Also, the very first Earth Imaging satellites back in the 60's had resolutions of about 6 feet, which is pretty phenomenal for the 60's if you ask me.. Do you not think that has improved dramatically since then!!!!
