I whipped this baby with some spare parts laying around my work bench I really like this build, it has all it needs in such a small package, LCC diode, aixiz glass lense, lipo battery heat sink, on indicator leds blue and green, rc psu ... here's the youtube video:YouTube - MICRO RC RED LABBY LASER 361mW

Wow! 360mw from 400ma? That's one hot diode! I love the remote control feature, and the size of the build. Well done!

That's a neat heat sink enclosure! Where did you get it?

Love it how you put the build on the DVD case of the movie Full Metal Jacket. ;) At the rate you build these little labbies, you should start selling them!

Nice build, not sure how I missed this one when it was posted :)

There's certainly a lot of features packed in that little build, where's the RC PSU from?

Nice little laser!
Incredible how the power output is 360mW at 400mA. I have a red laser at about 470mA but it's power is 240mW and with the glass lens it was 260.

nice build as always.:D My LCC is at 400mA and is giving me 260-270mW with a 405nm G1, wish i could get a 'hot' diode like that, hell I have an LOC at 434mA and thats just over 300mW with a G1

I did a test I swapped the hot LCC diode for another LCC and it only put out 253mW's with a glass lense @ 400mA so it proves that infact this is one hot diode!

Yea thats about normal, I got mine a little closer to 300mW with a 650nm G1, but nothing like yours:D
I do have an 8X BH08 at 290mA putting out almost 420mW with a 405nm G1:eg:
