Today:

Leg is still acting up a little bit! Not nearly in as much pain as yesterday but the day is still young. I have a job interview on thursday.. Keep your fingers crossed! other wise will post some thing in the next day or so

Edit:: been in pain most of the day.. trying to finish a project for school.. Im hating HTML right now but oh well

well gang

on top of everything else i have going on i get a stomach bug and not fun. I have a headache the first in a few days which in it self is a good thing and My legs is acting up again man i hate this stuff any that is it for today

Update: Hey all. I am off next Wednesday to have a sleep study done.. My Pulmonologist thinks I may have (Sleep Apena) It is done about a hour and a half from were I live. Its the closest sleep center to me. I am taking the bus to the center because we can not afford for my wife to do two trips to Wenatchee were the sleep center is. She would stay at a motel but no extra for that either. This was the best way for me to get to the sleep study center and for her to come get me the next day.. its a over night study. From 7 pm to 7am.. All I can say its not going to be fun for me! The Pain Pills that my doctor has me on are really not helping as much as they should they are Percocet 7.5s and that is the next step up from 5.5 either the pharmacy screwed up and gave me the wrong pills or they are not strong enough for my pain! To top that all off its been hot as blazes the last few days and I've been stuck inside with a gastro bug.. Some days it just dont pay to get out of bed. I dont know if I can swim in the condition im in currently! any way that is the update for today!

Update: sleep study on Wednesday really dont want to go but have to!.. Today started out ok and I had a bad spell with not being able to move my left side for about a hour and along with that the leg tremors came.. they I think are linked some how.. In pain most days but hey a lot of us are. That is all for now I think Im just going to update once a week to many others are in pain need help and need a place to vent... thinking of turning this in to the Medical update thread for all members
 
Well I feel your pain. I have bad back pain in the "mornings".

Then there is the latest batch of ConvaTec ostomy wafers that don't want to stick properly. They came
with a free sample of adhesive remover and barrier wipes that did not work at all and smelled like they were
out of date. Maybe everything in the box was just out of date.

I wish there was some way I could help you, but it makes it hard when I need help myself! :undecided:

I understand completely help starts at home! I am taking percocet 7.5 or I am suppose to be I think the pharmacy may have screwed up.. I dont know I just in pain most days! to what is going on with my body and what ever else..The thing is I have been taking pain meds for about three years do to having regular old arthritis in 60 percent of my upper body.. Now with what is happening god knows what it is! That has cause that pain to be amplified by a factor of three so im in pain most of the day the good days are the ones were i only hurt a little. any way I hope they find out some thing that will work with you god bless

Update: went for a two week check in with my doctor.. He got to see when my arm and leg does not work and he is concerned! He upped my pain medication again to 10 mg percocet.. sleep study will be Wednesday and I will not be on from 12pm pst to 10 am pst on Thursday. My vans air conditioner is on the fritz and there is just no money to get it looked at must less getting it fixed... Some times it just pours when it rains! any way guys thanks for your words of encouragement
 
Update:

Well the sleep study went well as could be expected! But on the same day while dropping my kids off at my parents house so that the wife could stay the night with a friend in the city were the sleep study was being done I found out that my house which belongs to my parents may go in to foreclose because of back taxes.. While I hope my parents can figure a way out of this I dont know! All i know is that i may have to pack up and try to find a place to live with no notice.. This could not come at a worse time. My parents are almost 70 and my dad has early stage prostate cancer and my mom is just a substitute teacher.. My dad taught school for thirty years and has social security but he still has to work a full time job just to pay their bills. I just pay the house payment for the house i live in they were trying to get the taxes included in to the house payment and is still fighting with the bank.. I dont know what were going to do.. im at a point were i am going to have a mental breakdown again. The stress of the ordeal and what ever else is going on im really stressed out.. My 12 year old want me to get custody of her and I tried three years ago had her temporary and the idiot judge gave her back to her mother still trying to pay the lawyer from that one.. so with it all I am just hanging on to my sanity by a thin thread.. any way that is what going on with me sorry for my rant


edit: it is 1:30 am and i can't sleep! the stress of school, what is going on with my body, and what may happen to my living situation as well as every thing is weighing heavy on my soul: I really do not know were to go and which way to turn. God has blessed us with some helping hands but were to go from here! Life is just a journey that really has no rhyme or reason for what happens to someone or your love ones. People come in to your life and people come out of it. Friend stick by you even though the hard times. While I may not no have meet some of you in real life I am proud to call you my friends! You have tried to hold me up and for that I am thankful. I just could use a little more.. I know there are others on LPF that need it to.. For me, and those who need that holding up, that spiritual helping hand! I am having many of these 1 am or later nights because of worry and im tired so tired!

Has your doctor tried prescribing morphine? You can also try taking toned down ones like hydrocodone for the pain. If you are having sympathetic nerve pain try taking gabapentin. Keep moving on man and keep us updated. ;)
 
I take gabapentin for my RLS and take HydroCodone for pain and those are 10s
 
Morphine did nothing for me, but that doesn't mean it won't work for you. Dilodid works well, but is direct
injection only. Hydroco/acetaminophen works good and so does tramadol. They never gave me straight
hydrocodone, so I don't know how well it works by itself. They like to mix it with Tylenol™ so people don't
use it to get high. That is the extent of the painkillers. I know much more about the antidepressants and
antipsychotics.
