Well, he'd also need to make sure the signal is good, and that he has enough wires for the connector. Sure, he could fit (R, G, B, X, Y, GND), but what about interlocks and other controls? He also need 2x DB25 connectors for connecting from source to destination, and also to ensure that the signal being carried is sufficient that it isn't too far degraded from distance. I don't even know if it's good to the DB25 cable itself that long. Personally, I'd just attach the RIYA to the projector and use the ethernet for the IP data it supposedly supports, not sending the ILDA connector signals over.
