I am doing another thread about the Magic Stick from Sinner. This host is the V3 of the series. I have build a laser with the V1, link here.
Sinner makes highly polish hosts and this host is a real beauty. You can buy it here, Magic Stick V3. :eg:
This laser has now an aluminium tail switch. Much better improvement than the V1. :na:
And it is focusable with the matching focus knob.

Most of the build is the same as in the V1 but I want you to show another way to add a spring in the tailcap. A round driver was used. I removed all the components on the other side. It was defect anyway. :)
Then I epoxied it to the white switch. Solder the red wire to the base of the spring.

The laser uses two 18350 li-ion batteries. The LPM graph with a G lens.

I hope you like it !

very nice blord! in the pix the beam looks a lot like 405 ;-)i have one of these hosts and am just waiting on the focus ring to do my review. I found a bit of arctic silver on the heat sink module threads really helped heat dissipation.

I really want to see that 2x4 burned through :p It can't take that long with all those test lasers...

The wood is about 1" thick. It has black holes of a few mm depth from burning. But once a hole is created the heat from the laser will dissipate very fast to the surround black area. So I don't know it is possible to burn through.
