That would be one AWESOME looking build! With one of Flaminpyro's HYDRA focus adapters you can't go wrong!

I think DTR or Lazeerer made this host into a laser. Do a search on the forum or ask them directly.

It's definitely "out there". It might look good polished!
I guess it depends on if you want to spend almost $73.00 on a host.
On the plus side, nobody else has one! :)

@djQUAN - I was just looking at that one also, I think it would look better without the jewelry in it.

EDIT - I think Smeerworst has a polished version of this.

There are two 1W 405nm builds using these hosts, polished by Lazeerer too! So there are others of these in existence.

If you are looking for an aggressive casing you might look at this build.

that's a really nice host, is it for sale by you or where can I buy the host and heatsink? After a few 445nm lasers I want to make a 650 or 405nm

I have build only this one laser and it is sold long time ago. Eudamonium has made the heatsink and the extended focus adapter. I am sure he has the dimension of the sink.
The host came from DX but I don't know the link anymore.

I was looking at that one too. It's a lot cheaper, but I think I'm going with the other one first and then use the cheaper one.
Just wish it didn't cost $73, but the diode with driver will be $150 or so and with the heatsink and focus adapter It's starting to look like a $400 build.

Illumination supply has the pieces to the host in the OP. Might be cheaper to piece it together than buy a full host from DX. On my phone but ill try to check the prices for you

EDIT: sorry they juat have the battery tube.....my bad

That unit in the OP would be a sweet looking host. You should totally rock that into a 100mW 589 :)

Haha!!

Nothing says "I'm a badass" like a flashlight modeled after a malnourished pineapple.

Well that's it. Now every time I look at it; I see a Pineapple.
Going with the one Blord has pictured.
Just have to use 2x 16340 batteries.
With a 1.4W 450nm PLTB450 from DTR.
