So haven't been on in almost a year and looking to get back into lasers. Looking for a handheld 445nm with an output of 2 Watts or greater for a reasonable price. Wanting to buy from a website or a well know person on here. I'm hoping after a year these lasers have improved.

Thanks.

P.S what 445nm has the highest power that you guys know of (handheld)

Edit: if anyone is looking to sell this the 2.2 Watt + version I am interested: http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/sold-out-now-new-1w-2-2w-445nm-501b-lasers-110-a-78452.html it is currently out of stock.

Re: Looking for extremely high powered 445nm laser.

The new 9mm diodes have are capable of doing 3W+
You should probably post this in the B/S/T section as well.
Make sue you have safety glasses as well!

I bought a 445 well above 3000mw from laser super store (ebay) which is Rick Trent from here. massive heat sink in an xml t6?? ( not used to what hosts are what yet).
Its using two massive 26650 batteries... burns anything in its path.:eg:

I think Blord is getting in new 501B hosts very soon, but you'll have to check with him.

Re: Looking for extremely high powered 445nm laser.

I have to agree with the others. 9mm 445nm diodes are your best bet for the highest power from a single diode 445nm. I'm getting the copper version of the dominator from Blord, I really can't recommend him enough. Rick Trent's stuff seems great too. 3W is what the one I'm getting hits, but a really lucky 9mm diode could hit 3.5W. If you spring for the dominator, Blord will give you the option to run it off of 1 or 2 26650 batteries. I sprang for the one using two, giving unsurpassed runtime. I believe the aluminum version runs around $350, the copper one $450

Rick trent's laser are the best option for the price. I have a 3.5W (even if it doesn't really hit 3.5 more like 3.2W) but it's just an amazing laser.
Also you won't be able to notice any difference from 3 to 3.5W.

What price range are you looking for? And, have you tried contacting Blord or Rick about your inquiry? I think that would probably be a good place to start-

I am selling a 2.4W build, M140 in an S4 host, with custom holographic warning labels and glow in the dark bits. It's a great laser, PM me if you're interested.
