with TEC cooling it heats up pretty quickly, and the output is fairly unstable

the color and build of the laser is great but the rest - not so much :-X

WL told me it had a 100% duty cycle with no output problems. :-?

Well, that's WL for you.

i'd rather spend my money on DX - for the price of a spyder you could get 68 true 30mW lasers ;D

Last time i checked Blu-Ray and DVD were different formats ::)

Well HD-DVD drives have blu-ray diodes...

Odd. Should be more like 80ma. I suppose 800ma sounds better to your average n00b.

It's probably just a "name" problem, but both are DVD's (Digital Video Disc). Blu-ray DVD won the format war with HD DVD format.

If you want to get really picky, they're "Digital Versatile Discs" since they don't always store video

it will be interesting when software comes out on blu ray discs... maybe windows 7 will? hah
