My only LPM is Kenometer lite.
I heard it is thermopile sensor.

How far away from the sensor is the laser when you record the measurements? The power of your laser seems a little too high. But if it is correct, that's amazing!

I think those measurements look pretty reasonable when compared to some of the 'freaks' posted on the official list. Some of those A140s go past 1W at 850mA!

There is little difference between the output power measured at 2cm and that at 1m.
Thermal additive effect from adjacent "hot" laser is scanty.(<10mW compare to total output 1200mW)

I double-checked all the procedure of my "freaks" but I couldn't find the reason.
I wonder if high current setting with blue-dummy load may be the problem.
Dummy load became very hot near setting of 800mA and then my multimeter readings fluctuated.

The dummy load you're using has two settings, one for blu ray and one for red. However the blu ray setting at these currents is the wrong one to use, it stresses the driver too much. You can use the red setting in this case. Try this, and the 5V input voltage and it should be fine.

I don't think my lasers are "true freaks" at the same time.

I'll build next one as drlava suggested....I don't know whether this will resolve the voltage-drop also...

This is definitely part of it...

It doesn't mean that your two diodes are not really high efficiency diodes. But maybe not quite as much 'on steroids'...

I have had the same issues trying to set high current with a blue test load. And have found that a red test load works just fine. As drlava suggested...

If the official list you are referring to is the chart on the first page, then SHIN is the only person with A140's that are past 1W.

I think good news is "still staying alive", even if there are obscure problems in the high current setting.
So I have a plan to build next one according to the power of 1.2W, and a plan to build with 3 or 4 of amc7135(310-350mA).

Now I'm thinking about cranking the pot on my FlexDrive from 1200ma to the top! The 18650 battery holds up well? Any special brand of battery? No diode flickering? Also, are you heatsinking the 5-pin chip on the FlexDrive? Thanks. I can't wait for my parts to arrive!

I don't use a test load

I set the drive adjust to minimum hook up my fluke 77 on the 10 amp setting in series with the diode and another meter in parallel with the diode and as I raise the current on the driver I get the most accurate readings on voltage and drive current possible!

I can see the voltage and current the diode begins to lase at and the final settings
are way more believable than with any dummy load

And ZRTMWA its the 3 and 5 pin devices on the back that needs heat sinking

I knew the reason why my A140s were " freaks" at 850mA.
I apologize for the data of A140s and for my illiteracy.

Standard blue test load uses 6 of 1N4001s and 1ohm resister.
And the voltage drop of A140 is known as 4.1V.
I set the current with this test load.

But the voltage drop was not 4.2V(0.7 x 6), but 5.2V including the voltage drop from 1 ohm resister(1V). I didn't know this at that time.
So my "true" current may be way over 850mA.
Relatively low current setting doesn't matter the reading, but the higher the current, the bigger the error.

And one more thing, maximum forward current of 1N4001 is 1A. So if the setting is near 1A, 1N4001 will produce more heat and act like more resister and will cause more voltage drop.
