I don't really post threads that often, but in this case I felt I had to.
Just to be 100% crystal clear I'm talking about the LPF member Lazeerer, not the company that goes by a similar name.
A while back his 275mW Red Mini lasers came up in the B/S/T section. I was on the fence since frankly while I love red, it's not the most visible and I enjoy actually seeing a beam without the aid of smoke.
The laser looked amazing though.
A little while later Lazeerer came out with a 445nm laser in that host, and of course he polished it. I couldn't resist, so I PMed him, and since I was already getting the polished one, he was kind enough to give me a discount on the two together.
There was a minor issue with the 445nm laser. The battery got stuck. I did manage to get it out, but what I didn't expect was what Lazeerer did next.
He actually sent me a different 10440 via priority, the very next morning!
With the red mini he also included two more 10440 batteries which do actually fit a little better (they still get a tad stuck but can be tapped out easily).
Both of the lasers are great, the red is overspec and hit a peak of 299mW on a test I did 10 minutes ago. The 445nm mini, this one surprised me... 377mW peak! Stable at around 360mW. Considering the size, I think that's phenomenal.
Personally I love the stock black host more, but both of them look and feel fantastic.
