'The Manhatten Project'. A lab where plutonium is made, has a copper
vapor which is shown to cut through metal, and even light a cigar

The scene after the 'cigar light' they walk beside the laser
that is used to produce the plutonium. Not sure if the two are
tied in the script, but it is 'said' to be a CVL...

It's not exactly a movie, and it's not exactly laser themed.. But "The Big Bang Theory" series has quite a lot of accurate laser scenes and references..

Nevermind, scratch "accurate". I just watched this scene where they used a red laser, and they wore red-colored safety glasses.. *facepalm*

Not necessarily a movie, but laser-related nonetheless.

It's an episode of Inspector Rex, title 'Rays of Revenge'. Can't remember which season, unfortunately.

I won't spoil the plot for you, apart from mentioning that a 473 that doesn't diverge and can punch holes in metal, a Coherent DPSS green, an unnamed Nd:YAG and a Coherent ArKr Whitelight feature in it.

The plotline revolves around lasers. And exaggeration. But mostly lasers.

That is true, I was attempting to limit it to movies with lasers as a core theme or plot element. However the topic sort of diverged so I just figured the ones mentioned already were pretty much all the known ones.
