Laser Purchasing

-Alien for host we can offer the standard flashlight host and Custom host.( i'll take care of supplying custom host).

-We keep the price competitive by matching Sanwu's Price.

We can ask either Grainde or Eudaimonium to be our Europe region warehouse.
Alien will be the U.S warehouse.

Isaac Clarke will be the Australia/Asia Warehouse.

DTR will be our diode supplier.

Survival Laser will provide misc part.( goggles/charger/battery/ flashlight host).

Or we can make an LPF run website.....

:gj:

I like it , am also trying to see i have a friend in my area to make the hosts
i have to ask to make copy's of some hosts i have from ehgemus ;)

Sounds so good I want to jump in. :D

I could design & program some custom drivers for you guys in a few months if you wanted, and if this CNC comes through, I can throw my hat in the custom host game (a bit uncertain right now).

well i'll be your Australia/ Asia branch Alien!!!

And now my business crumbles from competition ;(

Also let me know if you/any other aussie wants a bulk lot of 445nm modules, my supplier is doing some very nice pricing on PLTB450 based modules, only issue is the cost of selling them seperately after shipping, ebay fees, paypal fees and exchange rate fees the price gets so bloated for single units.

Thats my stumbling sales pitch take it or leave, i cant handle having lasers in stock for too long, to much temptation to blind myself :P .

i have an idea. Syko. you try to finish up your current catalogue and then join us... Since you have a domain it would be easy to edit the website layout so we'll have our own website without paying for a new domaun!!:)

Hehe was actually gonna suggest, but yes if there are a group of australians making laser related products id be happy if we could all work together although keeping in mind i cant be selling pointers over 1mw on my site.

When that thread about joker being threatened was still up i was gonna say " if only advertising could be for and paid by reputable members from across the forums rather than a single member" but didnt think to hard about it and thus didnt me tion it.

If you have a friend to make hosts then that would be good.

A person could sell a laser head for incorporation into someone's own device and a flashlight style battery tube that is included for free that " could " be screwed into the laser head to serve as a test fixture, but that you are NOT selling completed HH lasers, only laser heads/modules that look like the front half of a laser flashlight, and a battery tube that a person can use for whatever as it's a free gift, but you are not selling complete HH lasers.

That's the grey area, otherwise a jealous competitor would make trouble for you.

THE PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE SHIPPING BOTH IN THE SAME BOX

I am not a lawyer and share my thoughts for information purposes only, obey all laws and know that you are responsible for your own actions.

That being said I think people like affordable to get started, under 100 dollars R G B and once they get a taste they will want the bigger units.

I would be afraid to sell pointy sticks to the general public as there so many idiots.

Here's the rub, DTR already sells those pretty little 22mm modules that can attach to any 510 thread, and vape battery bodies have the 510 thread.

If 1 person sold laser heads and another person sold pretty battery tubes for vaping and a 510 thread was used as a connector on each item, then many people could make heads and others battery tubes, but having that separation would be good, that way the only thing in the box you sell is a laser head/module for incorporation into a persons own device. :) :) :) That's legal. :) :) :)

Others have gone the { here's everything, the customer puts it together } approach and they keep having trouble with alphabet agency.

It's a catch 22 as they say, noobs want push button ready, having to put batteries in is difficult enough and they even screw that up, people like it simple but a person in the US would be well advised not to sell completed HH units, only modules.

Now the biggest factor, an inexpensive 49 dollar 1w blue head or a 200mw 532 head or a direct green 100mw head, people want inexpensive and many don't know 1w from 7w they just want a blue one.

So if there was a good priced module and good priced vape battery tube maker that shared an ad, that could work. Because the average lookie lou needs it simple and in their face, they can't be expected to go looking or learn.

Two people selling different perfectly legal things. BUT THE FLASHING AD SELLS IT.

If they came in and the big flashing ad up top was something like this:

Yikes, I like all who have posted and there is nothing wrong with a dream and all of you seem to want do it with the best of intentions, I really see that. But the Jokers foot isn't yet in the grave, I don't know how else to say it but it seems a bit creepy. No the Joker doesn't have or ever did or even should have a monopoly here and correct me if i'm wrong but its seems this came out because of this. Its so confusing as is for new comers to want to buy and get the best deals and this is with even established companys. We also have up start members that have started slow and easy and are just getting into the groove of things. If all of you want to do some builds on the side for some thats great. Its sound like 4 or 5 want to join in harmony and give profits to the forum and truly believe it but at some point someone might want to place blame at one another when things might go wrong and we all know it does. I'm sure all the old timers have seen this over and over. Torches are meant to be passed yes they are but the timing is off at least for now with all this caos. A good idea for now I think is to look into some host or heatsink machining as there have been some builder drop outs. Diode's are getting stronger and that means bigger and bigger host's and sinks. Heck I think RedCowBoy alone would buy the whole first batch. Just a thought:beer:

I build my own everything, well I buy diodes and drivers but I can build drivers, but I do NOT build for other people because of the legal rules and I don't buy ready made HH units.

However a lot of people want them and just knowing where to get finished heads and tails is a big part of it.

Nothing improves service or gets the customer a good deal like a little healthy competition.

As it is passers by see an ad and what looks like a bargain and well....they don't seem to be getting it, sadly quite the opposite except is some cases.

Just 2 people, a head builder and a vape body reseller who imports in bulk, then anyone can build heads that are LEGAL :) :) :) in the USA.

Heads or laser modules are LEGAL :) :) :) in the USA to buy and sell.

In the USA, we can openly buy and sell them for use in our own projects, we just cant sell HH units over 5mw without the 5 safties and an FDA accession number, but finished modules are perfectly LEGAL :) :) :)

So anybody wanting to build modules with 510 threaded connectors can, and openly sell then without fear in the USA.

Vape battery bodies are cheap and plentiful, but others could build nice solid battery holders for vaping.

Now if an end user wants to combine the 2 that is their own project and their own risk, but do not sell that intact or in 2 parts together, sell either 1 or the other and you are within the law.

I am not a lawyer and you are responsible for your own actions, but look it up and believe nothing that funny guy making the jokes and threats says, he is a proven liar.

That is true. Both modules, and bodies are perfectly legal. Crucially, so is putting them together.

As are vape related product, and simply flashlight bodies. If two separate businesses were to each sell a component that would be great.

Had a similar brain fart a few years ago, to have a chinese company produce rebranded hosts, "flashlight bodies ready for custom drop ins", and to have them sell them independently, from china, while selling modules here.

Didn't have the funds, or the time to pursue, and was not sure about legalities being that I'd still be in charge of both enterprises, but if two completely separate people were each to take on the role, that would make things quite a bit safer from a legal standpoint.

DTR

THIS ONE

And no line of sad people being lied to for months, then threatened.

That sounds GREAT.

That Blue ASPIRE mod looks good, I think I am going to get that and a DTR 22mm module, that will look good!

I tend to sway towards GSS in this issue, is a little creepy as Joker is a long time member that was held in high esteem untill just recentally. If he can just get existing customers thier stuff and quit being a butthead he may salvage his buisness

As much of an optimist that I try to be, I strongly disagree - he's already doxxed, scammed, and lied to customers and basically destroying his business in the process. All the proof needed and more is documented in many many threads about unsatisfied customers and scammed individuals, even targetting a couple people personally with government threats. One victim being RedCowboy. I haven't even ordered from Sci-Fi and feel lucky as hell that I haven't but thejokers stupitity and incompetence alone gets to me.

A bit creepy yes, but he is not owed anything, especially given how he's behaved recently.

The thing about lashing out, and having a public implosion like he has, is things can't be unsaid. Yes an apology, and follow through on making things right, they go a long way, and he could salvage his business if he tries, but the trust that he has lost, and respect will take much longer to rebuild. (Though I'm skeptical that he will.)

In the meantime if others step in, I'm 100% for that. Personally I don't think much will come of it, as you say, for those of use who have been around a while it's definitely not the first, second, or third time we've seen similar things happen, but I still do want people to be able to buy lasers from good sellers, and would love to see my expectations proven wrong.

I actually like this idea. One person would make the modules. The other person would make the hosts. All a customer would need to do is buy one of each and screw them together. Then both sellers could claim ignorance if the buyer was to make a portable laser out of the combination.
