Nope, just called him. He is a real piece of work. I'll leave it at that. I'll just use this one till it dies and in the mean time I'll do more research.

Seller says I can't return it. He has a policy of not taking returns on used lasers. I didn't use it but, oh well. Sounds like he needs the $200 worse than I do if he has to treat customers this way.
Could always do a charge back depending on how you paid... Edit: Kinda sounds like he has it coming...
Seconded on Sanwu - great quality lasers. Alternatively you could go with LaserBTB - no first hand experience with them but have only seen good reviews.
Its nice to see someone taking something somewhat unpleasant with a grain of salt. Kudos His so called amazing customer service just went out the window but I doubt it ever existed.I'm not sure I want go through all that over $200. I'll let it go and enjoy this one. I will refrain from any indoor or closeup stuff till I get some quality glasses. In the mean time it'll be fun to look around for my next one. Sanwu does make what appears to be some quality stuff.
I looked around on that "World's Coolest Lasers" site and discovered that they seem to have stolen one of Garoq's images. I already sent him a PM.
Here's the offending webpage:
Web Store
And here is the place from which the image has been stolen:

Oh freakin well, now I'm thinking about the Sanwu, just wish they had a retailer in the USA.
That photo was actually supplied by a customer and used with permission, but still...
How long has it been since you bought the laser? IMO this guy scammed you, and you would be very well within your rights to file a paypal dispute, and paypal will back you.
You will need to ship the laser back, but you should be able to get a refund. It's a very clear cut case.
"Purchased curing blue laser. Laser output is far below what was advertised. Contacted seller to fix problem, was treated rudely. Would like to send laser back for full refund since it is not as advertised."
Once you're able to escalate it from a dispute to a claim, call paypal and ask them to generate a return shipping label for you (it will be deducted from seller account), and ship it back.
Once you ship, and tracking shows as delivered, paypal will issue you a refund.
I opened it last night after I got home from work
